Fashion Police: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

After watching E!’s Grammy Fashion Police with Joan Rivers and Fashion Wrap with Lawrence Zarian, the opinions of all of the “fashion genius’” were made very clear. Now it is my turn to express where I agree and disagree with their opinions.  According to Nick Varios from Project Runway, Jennifer Lopez was “made of diamonds”, “a disco ball.”  I couldn’t agree more.  Although her short, shimmering, metallic dress was a bit revealing, it was perfect for celebrating the biggest night in music.  “A vanilla soft serve ice cream” is how Rihanna’s dress was described.  When I heard this I immediately started laughing because it was a perfect way to describe her look for the night.  Many of the “fashion genius’” crowned Adam Lambert as their best dressed male of the night.  “Glambert” sported a skinny black suit in which he wore a black buttoned down shirt underneath revealing a plunging neckline.  His hair was perfectly slicked back and he wore just the right amount of rhinestones and studs.

Nicki Minaj: “A modern day Cher? A piece of art?” Really Lawrence?  Her creation of a creature was anything but “art.”  She was head-to-toe covered in leopard print.  Justin Beiber mistaken for Ellen DeGeneres? No way.  I think he looked young and polished in his white suit and black bow tie.  Hayley Williams of Paramore looking like a rock star in a shear black dress with a bright pink feathered bottom? Not at all. What was she thinking?  The pink too- too looked like an inner tube, making her look like she belonged in the water rather than on the red carpet.
