On Sunday, April 3, country singers, along with other stars came out to celebrate the Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. One of my favorites of the night was Reese Witherspoon who looked stunning in a chic black dress by Marchesa. Everything about the dresses detailing was gorgeous. I loved the lace, tulle overlay, and embroidered bodice. As always, Carrie Underwood was another favorite of mine. She wore a deep purple satin gown that was embellished with beaded straps and pockets. The color looked beautiful against her golden skin and curls. Julianne Hough looked stunning in a printed peach flowing halter Randi Rahm gown. I loved the halter style because it was different and revealed her bare back. Her look was beautifully accented with gold accessories. Mother daughter duo Wynonna Judd and Naomi Judd arrived on the red carpet looking like characters from a Disney Broadway show. Wynonna resembled a mermaid-like fairy godmother in her silver mermaid style gown that was not at all flattering to her body shape. Naomi looked like a black leather-loving pirate. The leather pants hugged her legs so very tightly and the fringe edging on the extremely long jacket looked horrible. Really ladies? You should be ashamed of yourselves.
